Full job description

Approachability. Listening. Dealing with Sensitive Situations. Building relationships.

We are a market leading and growing company who stand up for and support innocent motorists who have suffered loss and hardship as a result of road accidents. All our clients would really struggle in a modern world without their vehicle. We help by providing replacement vehicles to keep them mobile, organising their repairs or helping them replace their vehicle. We combine these services with our legal knowledge and expertise, to ensure our clients are properly represented against big corporations.

We are an employee centric company, based from modern offices in Wilmslow. We firmly believe that what sets us apart from our competitors are the people who work for us. We value you. We recruit the brightest and the best and in return provide the most nurturing environment in the industry. Our vibe is energetic and fun. We invest in you and your professional development. We endeavour to create a bespoke role for you, which you will find professionally rewarding, while helping us deliver the best service in the industry. If you have particular skills and a desire to use them, we will help you find a way to develop them within QDOS.

2024 will be our 20th year, providing legal services to our customers. We are one of the longest standing companies in our sector, because we are innovative, constantly improving and invest in our people as much as we do technology.

Who are we looking for?

We need people who have a passion to help others. You will want to make sure our customers receive the best support they can in the aftermath of a road accident.

Your considerate and empathetic phone manner will reassure our customers, while the knowledge and expertise you will develop from our training academy will enable you to deploy valuable services to our client and keep them informed of their claim progress. You will be tactful when dealing with clients who are in difficult situations and keep calm and collected during these conversations. You will have a polite telephone manner and be eager to listen to our clients and resolve any issues they have.

You will be the type of person who is happy to get stuck in and do their best without constant supervision. We don’t like to micromanage. However, you will be comfortable asking for support when you need it.

You will have a passion for supporting the growth of an upbeat, inclusive and friendly working environment, which embraces diversity.

You will be happy to support your colleagues achieve our objectives, knowing they will support you in return. Our strong sense of team and our ability to offer the flexibility we provide works on the basis of reciprocity. You will get back as much as you put in.

Our Policy on People

Rather than hit you with a load of corporate waffle, we felt our people would offer more meaningful insight into QDOS than we can…

I have found working here has been very welcoming, with a friendly and down to earth atmosphere. It is an encouraging place to work, especially where one wants to grow and learn in different areas of the business that appeal to one’s strengths and/or aspirations.

Elisabeth, Third Party Claims Handler

I’ve found QDOS to be the best place I’ve ever worked for! I don’t feel like another number to the company, everyone’s been lovely and really welcoming from the moment I started. I also feel like I could ask any question and not feel stupid, which is rare in a lot of workplaces. The work is fairly easy to understand after training and there’s never really a dull day as every claim is different and interesting to find out about when you’re on the phone with a client. It’s great!!

Josh, First Notification of Loss Claims Handler

I have worked at QDOS almost since the Company inception. It’s a great, vibrant place to work and progress. Hard work is always noticed and rewarded. That is coming from someone who has progressed through the ranks over the years.”

Andy, General Manager

I have been working for QDOS for the past 6 months and it’s been an absolute pleasure. Everyone that works within the team, be it from directors to management to claim handlers, are extremely approachable and helpful. There is never a question that cannot be asked or answered. The support is outstanding. They drive you to be your best and to perform at your bet. There is no micro management, you are given time to complete tasks and are supported all the time. There is flexibility when needed. The atmosphere is one of the best I have ever seen within a company. Would highly recommend as an employer. Family is one of the many words I would use to describe how I feel working here. Nothing is too much trouble. I finally feel accepted and appreciated and can put my skills to good use.
