ISQ Recruitment is supporting a Norfolk food manufacturer with their search for an experienced and proactive Lead Maintenance Engineer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering and maintenance of the site and factory. This role would suit someone looking for variety, autonomy, and perhaps that step up into management with a long-term view of building their own team.
This role is Monday to Friday on days, flexibility required as per the business needs and responsibilities of this role. The successful candidate must have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle.

- Please note this client does not offer VISA sponsorship, only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience to this role will be considered.
This role is Monday to Friday on days, flexibility required as per the business needs and responsibilities of this role. The successful candidate must have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair production machinery & supporting equipment to ensure maximum performance and minimize downtime.
- Monitor and improve facility operations.
- Act as the 'go-to person' for all site maintenance queries & issues, including machinery repairs, facility management, and general upkeep.
- Handle a wide range of tasks, from designing and automating production processes to repairing site damage.
- Keep Maintenance Schedules up to date, making sure all planned checks and servicing follow food safety, health and safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Qualified and multi skilled Engineer in relevant discipline / nationally recognised qualification (minimum Level 3)
- Previous experience within food production, including BRC and Retailer standards
- Knowledge of drainage, compressed air, refrigeration, and plumbing
- Comprehensive knowledge of plant and machinery manufacturers
- Must have full Right to Work in the UK
- Must have full UK driving license & access to own vehicle
