PURCHASE LEDGER SUPERVISOR

Our team in Leeds currently has an opening for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor. This role will be fully office based for up to 6 months after starting.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Month End processes for Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Management of key suppliers, building both internal and external relationships
  • Support Office Manager with Month / Quarter End reconciliation spreadsheets.
  • Assist with supervision of the Ledgers team
  • Monitor KPIs
  • Monitor invoices in process and ensure back log is always minimised
  • Resolving queries with suppliers / internal colleagues
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid on time and managing DPO to maximise Working Capital
  • Processing of employee expenses
  • Other ad hoc finance duties as required, including working extra hours as required to finish tasks.
  • Undertake any reasonable requests or duties assigned by the appropriate line manager

YOUR PROFILE

  • Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English GSCE
  • Experience using computers/laptops and general admin skills
  • Ideally have a basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • A keen eye for detail and able to work to a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
