At Ambrosia Quality Food, client relationships are our top priority. Ambrosia Quality Food, a distribution company based in North London are looking for a dedicated account manager to maintain client accounts and serve as our main point of contact for our offices in Derby.

Full-time, Permanent, 40 hrs/week

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 base plus performance related bonus

Responsibilities/Duties (but not limited to):

As the Account Manager within our sales division, you will be expected to manage an existing portfolio of clients effectively and professionally, whilst also identifying all new opportunities which will enable the company to achieve and increase sales turnover. You will be expected to maximise account profitability, providing the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction, whilst building a long-term relationship. Furthermore, you will be expected to reach sales and margin targets in line with company strategy and targeted profitability.

Reporting to General Manager, you will be expected to work independently, preparing forecasts as required and liaising with the accounts department and the warehouse on a weekly basis

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience managing key accounts ideally within the food & beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of the food wholesale sector in the UK
  • Strong negotiating skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Highly organised and able to manage your schedule and workload.
  • Be open to flexible working hours and available to travel.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK.

Skills:

  • Bilingual in Greek and English
  • Minimum 2 years of sales and account management experience ideally within the food & beverage industry
  • Be open to flexible working hours and available to travel.
  • Strong computer literate including Microsoft Office package.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
