Electrician
For the last 30 years, GB Group has gained a reputation for successfully delivering minor and major building projects.
We are looking for a Qualified 18th Edition Electrician to join our growing, MOD project team based in Hereford, working on our void refurbishment program.
Working on vacant properties, you will;
- Carry out electrical installations for kitchens, bathrooms up to full rewires for domestic projects.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and electrical codes, including the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Ensure all work is compliant with legal and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns professionally and effectively.
- Perform routine inspections and testing to ensure safety and compliance.
- Working safely, keeping high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness on-site. While collaborating closely with colleagues, managers, and other trades to get the job done right.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience of undertaking all aspects of domestic electrical installs including full and partial rewires, CCU changes, shower installations, boilers connections etc.
- An ability to complete additional works outside of the traditional disciplines associated with electrics.
- Thorough technical knowledge in all aspects of Electrical works.
- The minimal level of qualifications (18th Edition, 2391/2395 Inspecting & Testing) and education to support all works reasonably expected to be completed by the post holder.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Enthusiastic and positive outlook
Package:
- Company van, fuel card, power tools, trade purchasing cards, mobile phone and uniform are all provided.
- 42.5 hours a week.
- Salary - £18.25 per hour.
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
