The Company

Addressed are a national property sales and lettings agent operating from a central office in Tonbridge, Kent, primarily managing properties for Buy To Let investors based here in the UK as well as abroad. Fast growing, very ambitious and with a focus on property investment, we consider ourselves to be on the sharp end of the property market.

The opportunity

For a 'customer service natural' to come in at entry level to the property industry within a small friendly team, be trained up to become an exceptional and Qualified Property Manager and well-rounded property professional in general. Absorb a wealth of knowledge and experience in regards to property management and investments and gain nationally recognised property qualifications, providing an excellent long-term and well paid career in property.

The role will include:

- Respond to communications from landlords and tenants via email and phone.

- Organising maintenance works as and when needed, including negotiating on quotes with contractors and landlords and even trouble shooting problems on video calls with tenants to save unnecessary contractor call out charges!

- Co-ordinate the deposit release process at the end of a tenancy

- Qualifying new tenants, liaising with landlords and setting up new tenancy agreements

- Relationship building with both landlords and tenants. Our landlords are our long term clients and their properties are their nest egg, so it is imperative to build trust and familiarity... we want them to love you & us!

Skills Required:

  • The ‘likeability’ factor (we can teach you the industry and product knowledge, but you need to have some natural customer service skills)
  • A strong administration ethic
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Ability to negotiate and persuade to enable resolutions (there's plenty of times a landlord might not want to pay for repairs and a tenant won't accept it... so you need to eventually be confident in to being the voice of reason in such situations!)
  • Ability to work to timescales and under pressure

Pay: £18,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
