FOH MANGER

We are launching a new casual dining restaurant on the northern outskirts of Salisbury and are looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to join us on this exciting adventure

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a track record of building and training a team that can always provide high levels of customer service with an attention to detail that is the central theme of our customers experience

You should be a leader that leads from the front, we are not looking for an office dweller. You will be the face of our business, building relationships with our regular customers and ensuring that all customers leave with a smile on their faces

Casual and relaxed dining does not mean unprofessional …….it means carefully crafted, staff that are drilled in the importance of upselling, a friendly welcome, attentive delivery of a dining experience that is fun and where every shift runs smoothly no matter how busy we are.

This is an opportunity for you to recruit, build and train your own team, to work with the owners, to continually look to improve the offer

Your background should be with a busy high volume multiple or independent business and you should have at least two years experience running a team of at least 12 and have bar and barista ability

Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the front of house area, including managing staff and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of food preparation, culinary techniques, and food production.
- Train and mentor front of house staff on proper procedures, customer service skills, and food safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized front of house area, including dining areas, restrooms, and entrances.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software or POS systems.
