Warehouse Operative

About Eventurous

Eventurous is a full-service event agency and teambuilding company that designs and delivers memorable, high-energy experiences for corporate clients. From hands-on challenges to large-scale activations, our success depends on having the right equipment in the right place at the right time—and that's where our warehouse team comes in.

We're a collaborative, energetic group that values teamwork, ownership, problem-solving, and a positive, can-do attitude. If you enjoy practical work, variety, and playing an important role behind the scenes of exciting events, you'll feel right at home here.

The Role

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. You'll help prepare, maintain, and organise the equipment used at corporate events across the UK, ensuring everything leaves the warehouse in excellent condition and returns ready for its next event.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse duties with occasional travel to support event deliveries and set-ups during busy periods. No two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, prepare and pack event equipment for upcoming events using load lists and equipment check sheets.
  • Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Check event equipment before dispatch to ensure it is complete, clean and in full working order.
  • Receive returning equipment, checking it back into stock and reporting any damage or missing items.
  • Clean, test and carry out basic maintenance on equipment after events to ensure it is ready for reuse.
  • Assist with stock counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and well presented at all times.
  • Follow warehouse procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy when preparing event equipment.
  • Work safely at all times, following company health and safety procedures.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with general warehouse tasks and continuous improvements.
  • Assist with vehicle loading plans and ensure returned vehicles are unloaded promptly.
  • From time to time, support the Events Team with event deliveries, installations and derigs across the UK.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous warehouse, logistics or events experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving event equipment.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual and takes pride in producing quality work.
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using mobile devices or computers.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required).

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys practical, hands-on work.
  • Takes pride in keeping things organised.
  • Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Is happy working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Can stay calm and focused during busy periods.
  • Wants to learn new skills and develop within a growing events business.
  • Has an interest in events and enjoys seeing the results of their work come to life.

Why Work at Eventurous

  • Be part of a fun, energetic events and teambuilding company.
  • Support exciting corporate events and see the direct impact of your work.
  • Friendly and supportive team culture.
  • Varied workdays—no two weeks look the same.
  • Opportunities for training, development and progression.
  • Beautiful workplace surroundings on the 150-acre modern Mythe Farm.

Benefits Available

  • Competitive salary
  • Annual company performance bonus
  • Employee of the Month rewards
  • Training and development
  • Discounts on hotel stays, attractions, stores and food
  • Discounts on food, shopping and leisure
  • Option to sign up to private healthcare
  • Company pension
  • On-site parking
  • Birthday off
  • Paid volunteer time
  • Christmas Eve off (or an alternative day if it falls on a weekend)
  • Social events with colleagues
