Full job description

Our client is a Property Management company working directly for a sole landlord with a portfolio of residential and commercial units – predominantly HMOs.

We are looking for a General Builder to join our team to support in the general day-to-day maintenance of our residential properties.

*Must have their own vehicle and tools to use for work purposes*

We are looking for a committed hard-working person who can start asap and are looking for a long term commitment.

The position will suit any candidate who can attend properties and deal with maintenance work that arises.

Hours required: Monday to Friday, 9:30 - 6:00 pm. *can start earlier and finish earlier accordingly.

Living or close to the North London Finchley/Golders Green area desirable.

General maintenance and DIY duties on residential properties including:

  • Basic plumbing and electrical work
  • End of tenancy touch ups on residential flats
  • Minor refurbs on studio flats including replacing bathrooms and kitchen fitting
  • Carpentry, plastering, painting and tiling work
  • General handyman duties

Requirements:

  • Must have driving licence and own car
  • Must have own tools
  • Competent in carrying out the maintenance and repairs work to high standard
  • Well spoken English with good communication
  • Good understanding of property sector
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements
  • Must be able to attend evening/weekend call outs for emergencies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £200.00-£225.00 per day
