Skilled Operative – Carpentry & General Plumbing

We are looking for a skilled and reliable operative with strong experience in carpentry and general building maintenance. You will work mainly on larger residential buildings, performing a mix of carpentry, plumbing, and general handyman tasks.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Carpentry

  • Installation and repair of (doors, windows, frames, skirting, etc.)
  • Repairs to fascia and soffit boards
  • General joinery and timber replacement works
  • Ensuring all carpentry tasks are completed to a high standard

✅ General Plumbing

  • Leak detection and rectification
  • Unblocking and maintaining drainage systems
  • General plumbing maintenance and small installation tasks

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in carpentry and general plumbing
  • Ability to carry out safe working practices in residential environments
  • General handyman skills: painting, minor repairs, and property upkeep
  • Knowledge of tools, materials, and methods related to the work
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and punctuality
