Glastonbury Skip Hire Limited is a family-run business based in Glastonbury, Somerset. We provide skip hire and waste management services, collecting, sorting, and recycling waste from domestic, commercial, industrial, and construction waste streams.

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Waste Sorter to join the team at Glastonbury Skip Hire. This is a straightforward, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and doesn’t mind working outdoors.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with additional hours available during busy periods and to cover holidays.

You will work alongside our yard, office, and transport teams, helping to keep the site running efficiently. Duties include hand sorting a wide range of waste materials, including wood and mixed waste, along with general yard and labouring work as required.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and willing to get stuck in. The right candidate will be able to work safely in a busy environment and be part of a hardworking team that mucks in and gets the job done. No-frills, honest work with a solid local company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
