Multi-Skilled Fabric Engineer
Little & Cull are a BRC Accredited leading supplier of premium chilled, frozen and prepared foods with two sites located on Heathfield Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot and Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Fabric Engineer to support the Maintenance team with all fabric repair / installation requirements across the two sites.
When you join the team you’ll be ready to work in a fast paced environment that involves responsibility for;
· Continuous improvement of all associated fabric works within the factories
· Silicone throughout the factories
· Installation of custom metal work to walls and floors
· Installing a wide range of equipment such as dispensers to walls and ceilings
· Carpentry works
· Painting and decorating
· Assisting in further development and improvement of both sites
· Supporting and assisting as required with general site maintenance tasks such as building furniture, building/site repairs
· Repairs and installing new door handles / hinges / frames
· Minor plumbing works
We are looking for someone with;
· Relevant industry recognised qualifications preferred but not essential
· Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
- Good organisational skills
- A willingness to complete all maintenance tasks however minor
- The ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels across the business
- The ability to work under own initiative and continuously improve areas within the factory

Hours – 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday – Friday with weekend overtime available. We are offering flexible shift patterns so talk to us if a standard 8.30-5 doesn’t work for you. There are no on call requirements for this role.
Salary - Circa £30k – £35K subject to experience and qualifications £14.42 - £16.82
