Reporting to: General Manager

The Role

As Regional Sales Advisor for Exeter Depot youll be part of the national sales team. Whilst youll have a functional reporting line to our Head of UK Sales, you day to day line manager will be our Exeter General Manager.

The primary focus of this role is to proactively develop and foster relationships with new and existing customers to create business opportunities for Pickerings products and services.

Whilst youll have a base at our Exeter depot, youll spend the majority of your time visiting customers at their sites and offices across the Devon/Cornwall area to identify and understand their needs and provide solutions and timely quotations.

Youll be responsible for your own diary and will liaise with the wider sales team, depot team and undertake your own market research to target potential customers.

About you

Youll be a successful sales advisor who is target driven and with demonstrable expertise in face to face sales and business development through impromptu and scheduled calls and meetings.

Experience within the temporary accommodation industry would be advantageous but isnt essential. More importantly is being able to quickly assimilate knowledge of our products and keep up to date with market trends and competitor information.

This is a full time and permanent position. Whilst our business primarily operates between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, youll need a flexible approach to working hours to meet business need.

As youll undertake extensive travel across Devon & Cornwall plus occasionally travel to our Head Office in Derbyshire, youll need a full driving licence.
