The Vicarage, a stunning Grade II listed venue nestled in the heart of Cheshire, is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our team and deliver outstanding service within our hotel and restaurant. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and lead a dedicated team, driving high service standards and nurturing a positive and collaborative work environment. Take a hands on approach to your management role and a proactive response to the working environment.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong connections with local residents, businesses, and organisations, ensuring The Vicarage remains a cornerstone of the community.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor performance against budgets, keeping an eye on cost control and maximising profitability while achieving business goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, manage staff schedules, and ensure smooth, efficient service that meets the high standards our guests expect with a hands on approach to operations, mucking in with your team at every opportunity.
  • Event Planning & Management: Actively contribute to the planning, coordination, and delivery of events that foster both business growth and community interaction.
