ORG Developments is a growing regional general building and maintenance company, delivering refurbishment, maintenance and construction projects across the North East.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Working Site Foreman to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated construction professional who is confident managing site activities, coordinating trades and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Requirements

• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager or Site Foreman
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and site procedures
• Valid First Aid qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience working on refurbishment and general building projects
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple trades on site
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a site

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of projects
• Supervising and coordinating site operatives and subcontractors
• Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Carrying out site inductions for all operatives and subcontractors
• Delivering regular toolbox talks
• Managing and issuing permits to work
• Coordinating trades, materials and deliveries
• Monitoring progress against project schedules
• Liaising with project management, subcontractors and clients
• Ensuring work is completed to the required quality and specification
• Identifying and reporting any issues, delays or site requirements
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised working environment
• Supporting the successful delivery of projects from start to completion

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and organised, with strong site management experience and the confidence to take responsibility for the smooth running of projects.

You will be comfortable working alongside trades while also managing the wider site operation. Good communication, attention to detail and a strong commitment to Health & Safety are essential.

Experience within general building, refurbishment and maintenance would be highly beneficial.
