General Manager

Full Time

We're looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to join our growing independent pub company.

This is a confidential opportunity to lead an established, high volume food led pub with a strong reputation and an exciting future. You'll be responsible for driving standards, developing your team and delivering exceptional guest experiences while taking full ownership of the day to day operation.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and inspiring the management and front of house teams.
  • Driving exceptional standards of food, drink and service.
  • Taking ownership of financial performance, labour and cost control.
  • Recruiting, training and developing a high performing team.
  • Creating a positive, engaging culture where people enjoy coming to work.
  • Working closely with senior management to grow sales and maximise profitability.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, food safety and health & safety legislation.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a General Manager in a quality pub, restaurant or hospitality venue.
  • A proven track record of delivering strong financial results.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and looking after guests.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Personal Licence holder preferred, but not essential.
