About Us
TeamSport is the UK’s No.1 indoor karting company with 38 tracks in the UK and growing across Europe. And we’re not just about karting — our venues feature mini‑golf, VR, Combat Karts, virtual darts, bowling, Sky Sports Bars and great food & drink, creating buzzing multi‑activity destinations.

Why Join Us?

  • Clear internal progression & development opportunities
  • A chance to work with a growing business no 1 in the industry
  • Go‑karting from £1 + great food & drink discounts
  • Community‑focused and proudly Carbon Neutral

The Role

As General Manager, you’ll lead the entire track, ensuring daily operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You’ll follow company procedures, control wage budgets, and ensure each department delivers brilliant customer service. You’ll coach your Crew, uphold standards and help make TeamSport a Great Place to Work.

What We’re Looking For

Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Director, you’ll be a hands‑on operator who leads from the front. You’ll be on the floor during busy evenings and weekends, supporting your Crew, keeping standards high, and making sure operations run smoothly across the whole site.

About You

  • A strong motivator with proven leadership experience
  • Excellent communicator who adapts to different people and situations
  • Flexible — our venues run 7 days a week, from morning to late evening
  • Comfortable influencing and collaborating at all levels
  • Highly organised with great time‑management and team‑development skills
  • Knowledgeable in Health & Safety, Food and Consumer legislation
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive working environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to achieve departmental KPIs, including wage ratios and financial targets
  • Ensure smooth, safe operations across all departments in line with SOPs
  • Manage budgets effectively to maximise profitability
  • Spot and develop new revenue opportunities
  • Ensure full compliance with legislation, company policies and Health & Safety standards
  • Maintain consistency across all areas and support accident prevention
  • Recruit, train, coach and performance‑manage your Crew

Please Note

This is a leisure and hospitality operation — our peak times are evenings and weekends. Flexibility is essential, and you can expect 1 in 3 weekends off.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS check.

If you’re a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment — and you’re Fuelled by Fun — we’d love to hear from you.

Application question(s):

  • What is your current salary and benefits package?
  • What is your expected salary and benefits package?
  • Do you have the right to work in the UK? (Unfortunately we do not accept Visa sponsorship at this time)
  • Why would you like to work with us?
  • Do you have any unspent criminal convictions under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974? Telling us about a criminal record may not necessarily prevent you from being offered a job, as we may consider the type of offence, the time since it happened, your age at the time and any other relevant factors when we make a decision on whether to offer you a job. What is a spent criminal conviction? Some criminal convictions can become 'spent' after a set length of time from the date of the conviction. If this length of time has not passed, the law states that you must tell us now about any criminal convictions you may have that are 'unspent'. If you do not tell us about your 'unspent' criminal convictions this may result in an unsuccessful application or dismissal at a later date. We do not expect you to tell us about speeding offences or parking violations.
  • What is your current notice period?

Experience:

  • Management: 3 years (required)

Work Location: In person
