We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Long-Term Locum GP to join our team for 6-8 sessions per week, working across our Lanarkshire practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for a stable, long-term locum role within a supportive and collaborative organisation.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services.
  • Conduct routine and urgent consultations, both face-to-face and remotely as required.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams, including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, and Allied Health Professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
  • Contribute to the ongoing delivery and development of high-quality primary care services.

Essential Requirements

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and licence to practise.
  • Inclusion on the NHS Scotland Performers List.
  • MRCGP (or equivalent recognised qualification).
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable

  • Experience working within NHS Scotland primary care.
  • Familiarity with EMIS clinical systems.
