Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Practice Nurse to join our friendly GP practice in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician looking for a consistent, part-time locum position in a supportive primary care environment.

What We Offer

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of long-term conditions
  • Treatment room duties (dressings, ECGs, immunisations, injections, etc.)
  • Cervical cytology
  • Childhood immunisations
  • Support with QOF, health checks, and chronic disease reviews
  • Contribution to a high standard of patient care within the practice

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Practice Nurse with primary care experience
  • Up-to-date NMC registration
  • Confident in treatment room skills and chronic disease management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
