Are you up for a challenge?

We are seeking a dynamic General Managerto oversee the daily operations of our exciting, fun and certainly intriguing late night bar.

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in driving the ongoing success of BCD by fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring operational excellence, whilst being a part of a growing and impressive company.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise all aspects of running the bar
  • Oversee training of staff and implement new operational systems
  • Manage all on sitestaff
  • Overseeing all orders, with alcohol done personally. Also includes consumables, fruit, garnish and others.
  • Weekly rotas using rota ready with variance due to changes in predicted take.
  • Produce monthly reports on the bar, looking at wage percentages and overall performance.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any operational or service issues promptly.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the establishment during all shifts with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in cocktail bars
  • Cocktail trained fully
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails & alcohol trade.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Experience in food safety standards and compliance with health regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate staff towards achieving operational excellence
  • Must value a commitment to quality service and continuous improvement in all aspects of bar operations.

Financial

  • Baseline level of service charge guaranteed by the company
  • Monthly reviews and bonuses on targets for Wage %, gross profit and stock levels
