Customer Care Specialist — High-Growth SME Fintech Lender Summary
- Role: Customer Care Specialist
- Location: United Kingdom, with realistic commute to the London office required
- Work arrangement: Full-time; office access in London required, with flexibility to work additional hours when needed

What you'll do
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues through clear, professional communication
- Keep internal systems and databases accurate, current, and well maintained
- Find practical customer solutions that align with service standards and internal processes
- Support recovery-related activity, including contacting customers to recover funds when needed
- Work closely with colleagues across the business as priorities shift day to day
- Protect the customer experience through careful record-keeping, follow-through, and attention to detail
Must-haves:
- Experience in customer care or customer support roles where you’ve handled enquiries, resolved issues, and maintained strong service standards
- Experience using internal systems or databases as part of your day-to-day work, with a strong focus on accuracy
- Solid working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
- Early-career to mid-level experience in a customer-facing or operations role, with evidence that you can work to deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Interest in building your career in financial services
- Experience in financial services, lending, fintech, or another regulated or customer-sensitive environment
- Experience working in a high-growth business where priorities can shift quickly
- Exposure to work where accuracy under pressure really matters
- Experience collaborating across teams to keep operations running smoothly
