Kelly Group is proud to be expanding its engineering team and is currently seeking Trainee and Experienced Installation Engineers to support one of our key Gigaclear fibre contracts.

Whether you’re starting your career in telecoms or you’re an experienced engineer looking to work on cutting-edge fibre networks, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with a respected, forward-thinking organisation.

The Role:

As an Installation Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality fibre connectivity to customer premises across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and maintaining fibre networks to customer properties
  • Working at height and within underground network environments
  • Splicing and testing fibre at multiple stages of installation
  • Working independently and collaboratively to meet targets and KPIs
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety legislation
  • Delivering a professional, customer-focused service

What We’re Looking For:

We welcome applications from both new entrants and experienced engineers. Key attributes include:

  • A strong safety-first mindset
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions across the UK
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions using smart devices and technology
  • Previous customer service experience or a customer-focused approach
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working at heights of up to 15 metres
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points
