Driver / Driver Guide – TA Scotland

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 depending hours
Job Type: Part-Time, Full-Time, Temporary, Permanent
Schedule & Working Pattern:
Our work pattern is flexible, with shifts available from Monday to Sunday. We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a generous flexible working policy. Whether you prefer to work full-time over three days, part-time around other commitments, or need to accommodate childcare or personal schedules, we are here to support you.

At TA Scotland, we create unforgettable experiences for travellers from across the globe. We’re looking for enthusiastic Drivers or Driver- Guides .

Responsibilities

  • Drive one-day and multi-day tours (8-12 hours per day)
  • Share Scotland’s history, culture, and legends in an engaging way
  • Drive safely and professionally, following all regulations
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness
  • Complete legal documentation and reports
  • Work closely with the team to deliver excellent customer experiences
  • No bus cleaning required

Requirements

Essential:

  • Valid UK Bus Driving Licence (Type D) and clean driving record
  • Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable

Desirable:

  • Passion for Scottish history, culture, and storytelling
  • Experience in tour guiding, hospitality, or related fields
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations and problem-solve
