The Dukeries Lodge recently underwent a £1.5million refurbishment, with 17 beautifully designed bedrooms and a cosy pub/restaurant, we're looking for the perfect people to join our Front of House team.

Our Front of House staff are the most important part of our puzzle; ensuring that all guests enter and leave happy having had the best experience possible. Our front of house team should have a real buzz, greeting guests as they enter and thanking them for their custom as they leave. Ensure that they have the best experience possible; but if something goes wrong, correct it in a timely manner and ensure our guests still leave happy, no matter what it takes.

We’re looking for people with personality who go above and beyond, with an enthusiastic energy and a buzz to progress and learn new skills.

This role is varied and covers all aspects of our front of house operations. You could wait on in our table service sections, taking orders at the tables, keeping on top of a specific section and turning over tables once clear. You could be a table server, who ensure that food is delivered from the kitchen and that the food delivered is of a high quality. You could be on the bar (aged 18+) preparing drinks and taking them over to tables. Or you could be a float, who helps in all sections of our business ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout.

We don’t recruit for a specific section of our business, as a front of house team member you will be expected to work in the different areas of our operation depending on the needs and requirements; your allocated section will be decided on a shift-by-shift basis by our duty managers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving meals and drinks to all guests
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene
  • Compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations and food standards regulations

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
