Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, providing exceptional service to our customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about vehicle care and customer satisfaction, with a focus on attention to detail and professionalism.

This a self-employed position offering 35 hours per week across 5 days. Weekend work is mandatory.

Duties

• Clean and polish vehicle exteriors, including washing, waxing, and buffing to achieve a pristine finish
• Vacuum and thoroughly clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, and dashboards
• Apply protective coatings and treatments as required to maintain vehicle appearance
• Inspect vehicles for any damages or imperfections and report findings accordingly
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as tyre cleaning and window polishing
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries professionally and courteously
• Drive Company vehicles to designated locations as needed

Skills

• Valid Full UK Driving Licence with a clean driving record is essential
• Fully Comprehensive Driving Insurance to cover the company vehicle which is provided
• Previous valeting experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Attention to detail is crucial to ensure high-quality vehicle presentation
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple vehicles and tasks simultaneously
