We are looking for a team member to work in our INOV8 store in York on weekends.

This is about optimising the results of a busy store, providing brilliant customer service and support. We’re looking for someone who is confident, commercial and passionate, who loves being on the shop floor and interacting with customers. This role will require weekend work and there will be the opportunity to support the store with events at races/shoe demos and more. The ideal candidate would have a full UK driving license.

Best known for our market leading fell and trail running shoes, INOV8 also has innovative, award winning ranges of gym and hiking products. All three categories are sold in store and we’re looking for staff who are passionate about any or all of these activities.

Reporting into the Store Manager, your role is focused on providing the best possible service to our customers, in store and by supporting online customer queries during quieter times in-store.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide expert product advice to in-store and online customers
• Deal with queries, returns and complaints, both instore and online
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the store
• Help with merchandising the store (e.g. setting up the space for a new sale or product launch)
• Be creative in finding ways to go above and beyond to help our customers
• Supporting community events

The ideal candidate should have the following relevant experience:

• Previous experience in a premium or outdoors retail setting
• Good people skills and experience in a fast-paced working environment
• Strong communication skills
• A passion for running, hiking or fitness or all three
• A valid driving license and car

Job Type: Part-time or zero-hour role

Expected hours: hours not guaranteed but typically 8 – 16 per week, dependant on the needs of the business,

Pay: £12.76 per hour (plus a 12.07% holiday uplift for zero hour option), paid monthly

Schedule: Saturdays plus most Sundays.
