What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Goalkeeper Coach to support the development of goalkeepers across the Leeds United Girls Academy and Pathway programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing female goalkeepers within a structured pathway, delivering high-quality coaching sessions that support technical, tactical, physical, psychological, and social development. Working closely with the Centre Manager, Technical Director, and Player Development Lead, you will help create a positive, safe, and challenging environment that enables players to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality goalkeeper coaching sessions across the Leeds United Girls Pathway.

Support the welfare, development, and progression of goalkeepers within the programme.

Implement the Leeds United Foundation coaching curriculum and games programme.

Contribute to player reviews and development discussions.

Complete player reports and provide feedback where required.

Maintain programme administration including registers, risk assessments, wellness reports, and safeguarding documentation.

Attend fixtures, tournaments, festivals, development events, and training sessions.

Support talent identification and recruitment activities across the pathway.

Build positive relationships with players, parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Attend staff meetings, programme reviews, and CPD opportunities.

Maintain and oversee goalkeeper equipment and ensure sessions are delivered safely.

Promote the values, vision, and standards of Leeds United Foundation at all times.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, equality, diversity, and inclusion policies.


What We’re Looking For

You’ll have:

FA Level 2 Goalkeeping Qualification (or equivalent).

FA Licensed Coach status.

Valid FA First Aid Qualification.

Enhanced DBS clearance.

Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to safeguarding and player welfare.

Passion for women's and girls' football development.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider coaching team.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.

Experience

Experience coaching goalkeepers within a football development environment.

Experience coaching girls' football.

Experience supporting player development and progression.

Experience delivering structured coaching sessions and development programmes.

Experience maintaining player records, reports, and programme administration.
