We are looking for an individual with:

Passion for Learning

Enthusiasm for staying current on digital marketing best practice, algorithm shifts, Paid Ad platform changes and trends, particularly the shift towards AI search and answer engine optimisation.

Natural Marketing Instincts

An innate understanding of user behaviour, brand positioning, and how to engage an audience across multiple channels.

Proven Digital Marketing Experience

3 or more years in a digital marketing role, with a track record across SEO and paid advertising, improving search rankings, organic traffic and campaign performance.

Line Management Experience or Aptitude

Confidence supporting team members, setting development plans, and helping others do their best work, even if this is your first formal people management role.

Technical Aptitude

Comfortable working across SEO and paid media platforms, with a working understanding of website content and structure.

Analytical Mindset

Comfortable with data interpretation, reporting, and generating insights that drive actionable changes.

Client experience

Qualified experience building and nurturing client relationships, including handling difficult conversations when things go off track.

Key responsibilities

  • Personally deliver SEO and paid media campaigns for a portfolio of key client accounts
  • Develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing strategies across SEO, paid, content and social
  • Line manage, support and develop the SEO and Paid Advertising specialists, including regular 1-2-1's and personal development plans
  • Set and uphold quality standards across the team's marketing output
  • Act as escalation point for at-risk client accounts and support renewal and growth conversations
  • Contribute to company business planning and marketing strategies
  • Keep the team's knowledge of SEO, AEO and GEO current, and translate market changes into service improvements
  • Support scoping and pricing for new digital marketing proposals
  • Own DBS Digital's monthly newsletters and oversee the agency's own social media presence
  • General administration and reporting
