Responsible for monitoring and reporting on key governance activities, you will ensure statutory, corporate and organisational requirements are met in a timely and transparent manner.

Acting as a trusted adviser, you will provide guidance and support to managers on governance, compliance and risk management matters, helping to embed best practice across the organisation.

This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 40% of your time in the office.

  • Drive effective risk and resilience management, maintaining strategic and operational risk registers, working closely with risk owners and senior leaders to identify emerging risks, strengthen controls and support business continuity planning across the service.
  • Be responsible for the monitoring of and reporting on the PCD compliance with people management policies such as completion of performance management reviews, DSE and essentials training, and the monitoring of impartiality and register of interests.
  • Lead information governance and compliance activities, overseeing Freedom of Information requests, data subject rights requests, information asset management and GDPR-related processes to ensure legal obligations are met and best practice is maintained.
