Science Graduates Wanted - Secondary Schools

Have you recently graduated in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Science, Forensic Science or another scientific discipline?

Are you considering a career in teaching or looking to gain valuable classroom experience before completing a PGCE or teacher training programme?

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting Science Graduates to work across secondary schools throughout Merseyside and Cheshire.

We regularly place graduates into rewarding roles including:

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Cover Supervisor
  • Learning Support Assistant
  • Behaviour Mentor
  • Classroom Supervisor

These opportunities provide an excellent introduction to education while allowing you to develop classroom confidence, behaviour management skills and experience working alongside experienced teachers.

The role may involve:
  • Supporting Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Delivering small group interventions
  • Providing one-to-one academic support
  • Supervising lessons during teacher absence
  • Helping students improve confidence and attainment
  • Supporting practical Science lessons where appropriate
