You'll receive structured sales training, work alongside experienced mentors and build relationships with customers across industries including aerospace, Formula 1, pharmaceuticals, engineering and renewable energy.

About the Role:

As a Business Development Executive you'll develop your own customer portfolio across the south coast, helping manufacturers source specialist metal products used in some of the UK's most demanding industries.

From your first week you'll receive practical training in business development, customer relationship management and commercial sales while working alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development.

As your confidence grows, you'll take ownership of your own accounts, build long-term customer relationships and be rewarded through an uncapped bonus structure.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying new business opportunities and speaking with potential customers

  • Building relationships through phone, email, LinkedIn and customer visits

  • Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products

  • Preparing quotations and negotiating commercial agreements

  • Managing and growing your own portfolio of customer accounts

  • Keeping your sales pipeline organised using our CRM system

  • Working towards achievable sales and activity targets with ongoing coaching

Full Sales Training Provided

You don't need previous sales experience.

The Sales Academy is designed to give graduates everything they need to succeed, including:

  • Business development and prospecting

  • Consultative selling

  • Customer relationship management

  • Commercial negotiation

  • Product and industry knowledge

What We're Looking For
