Full job description

About Us

We are an ambitious start-up online food business with a simple mission: to make anybody a legendary host.

We help customers create memorable gatherings through exceptional food experiences, practical inspiration and engaging content. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative, organised and proactive individual to join our team at the start of their career.

Unlike many entry-level roles, this is an opportunity to join a business at the beginning of its journey, work directly with the founder, and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the brand. Your ideas will be heard, your work will have real impact, and you'll gain exposure to all aspects of building a modern consumer business.

The Role

This is a unique hybrid role combining 50% content creation, social media management and marketing support with 50% executive and administrative support to the founder.

You'll help tell our story online through engaging content while also helping the founder stay organised, productive and focused on growing the business. No two days will be the same. One day you could be filming social content, the next supporting product launches, coordinating projects, or helping bring new ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities – Content Creation & Marketing (50%)

  • Film, photograph and edit content for social media channels
  • Post across all social channels to an agreed schedule and engage with other accounts, comments and followers
  • Create engaging short-form video content
  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage, product content, customer stories and founder-led content
  • Assist with content planning, scheduling and organising shoot days
  • Support marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Key Responsibilities – Founder & Business Support (50%)

  • Support the founder in his day-to-day activities
  • Coordinate projects and follow up on actions
  • Prepare presentations, documents and reports
  • Organise travel, events and logistics
  • Provide general administrative assistance across the business

What We're Looking For

  • College leaver, recent graduate or equivalent
  • Strong interest in content creation, videography, photography and social media
  • A good grasp of video editing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to improving business processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Someone who is excited by the prospect of helping build a brand, not just doing a job

Personal Qualities

Hard working (absolute must), creative, organised, dependable, enthusiastic, proactive, curious and excited by the opportunity to work closely with a founder.

We value attitude over experience. We're looking for someone who is hungry to learn, willing to get stuck in, and excited by the pace and variety that comes with working in a growing business.

What You'll Gain

  • Direct mentorship from the founder and marketing lead
  • Real responsibility from day one
  • Exposure to content creation, marketing, operations and entrepreneurship
  • Opportunity to build a strong portfolio of work
  • Fast learning and career development
  • A front-row seat to how a consumer brand is built and scaled
  • The opportunity to grow into a future marketing, brand, operations or leadership role as the business expands

Pay: £22,500.00-£25,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
