Job Summary
An excellent opportunity for a Graduate Design Engineer to join a well-established Aerospace manufacturing company based in Denton, Manchester.

About our Company:

Founded to service the needs of the Aerospace industry, we have rapidly grown and diversified to provide a comprehensive tooling service to most industry sectors, becoming specialists recognised worldwide in; CNC Machining, Design (including reverse engineering), Tool Making and Pattern/Model Making.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join the team.

Please note: All candidates must have a right to work in the UK.

Due to the nature of our business, security clearance may be required.

Education:

· Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience using 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-moving team with diverse skill-sets.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Keen to learn and able adapt quickly to a wide variety of engineering challenges.

Roles & responsibilities:

· Creating fully detailed tooling designs for the manufacture of a wide range of aircraft and automotive components and assemblies.

· Producing technical drawings to assist with manufacture of tooling.

· Modifying and interrogating existing tooling designs to provide design improvements or amendments.

· Liaising with the customer to discuss component manufacturing methods and to determine tooling design requirements.

· Reading and understanding technical component drawings to assist with both the tooling design and manufacturing processes.

· Working alongside engineers and toolmakers to ensure designs are manufactured to required standard.

· Providing technical support to the shop floor throughout the manufacturing process.

· Providing assistance in the preparation of tooling for CNC manufacture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
