Process Engineer (Graduate)

£38,000 per annum plus excellent benefits

Permanent, Full Time

Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

About the Job:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our evolving business as a Process Engineer. This role would suit a newly qualified graduate or a graduate within their early career. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be Responsible for providing technical support (input and review) to both the Maintenance and Project departments including new equipment introduction, process improvement programmes and engineering changes to include documentation (URS, Functional Specification, Design Review, Testing FAT/SAT and Validation, P&ID) Identify and implement system optimisation opportunities through System Data gathering and analysis. Increase Operational Equipment Efficiency (OEE) performance through implementation and documentation of minor changes to existing and new process systems

About You:

You will have:

  • Degree in Engineering related discipline ie. Chemical , Electrical, Mechanical or Automation 2.1 classification or above
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft word packages
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing & manufacturing principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and apply problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Proactive
  • Innovative
  • Practical / Hands on
  • Demonstrates a "can do" attitude
