About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious, analytical and highly motivated graduate to join our leadership team as a Graduate Strategy & Service Improvement Analyst.

Working directly with senior leadership, you will play a key role in researching best practice, analysing legislation and guidance, reviewing current organisational processes, and supporting the implementation of strategic improvements across our group of care homes, children's homes and schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys learning, solving complex problems and turning research into practical action. You will be exposed to a wide range of strategic projects and will gain valuable experience across health, social care and education.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching legislation, statutory guidance and sector best practice.
  • Reading and interpreting large volumes of information from government publications, inspection reports, academic research and professional guidance.
  • Producing concise reports, summaries and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Reviewing existing policies, procedures and operational systems and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of organisational change across multiple regulated services.
  • Assisting with quality assurance, governance and compliance projects.
  • Monitoring progress against improvement plans and tracking actions.
  • Preparing presentations, briefing papers and business reports.
  • Analysing data and identifying trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Working closely with managers and leaders to help implement evidence-based improvements.
  • Supporting projects across care homes, children's homes and schools as priorities evolve.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is naturally curious and enjoys researching new topics.
  • Can quickly understand and analyse complex information.
  • Thinks critically and can identify practical solutions.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Has exceptional attention to detail.
  • Is confident working independently while collaborating effectively with senior leaders.
  • Is proactive, resilient and keen to learn.
  • Enjoys improving systems and making organisations more effective.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
  • Degree in discipline with a strong analytical or research focus.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong written communication and report-writing ability.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and discretion.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Desirable

  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to support research and productivity.
  • Knowledge of regulated services, safeguarding or quality assurance.
  • Experience interpreting legislation, policy or research.
  • Project management experience or qualifications.
  • Experience within health, social care or education.

What We Offer

  • Starting salary of £32,000–£35,000 depending on experience.
  • Direct mentoring from senior leadership.
  • Exposure to strategic decision-making and organisational development.
  • Opportunities to lead meaningful improvement projects.
  • A varied and intellectually stimulating role where no two days are the same.
  • Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities.

Who This Role Would Suit

This position would suit a graduate who is considering a future career in strategy, management consultancy, healthcare leadership, operations, public health, education leadership or organisational improvement.

If you are intellectually curious, enjoy solving problems and want to make a meaningful impact across services that support vulnerable children and adults, we would love to hear from you.
