Full job description
Digital Marketing Executive
Hybrid – preferably East Midlands based (1 day per week at our Nottingham office)
Salary up to £27,000, pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services
Reporting to the Head of Paid Media & Advertising, the Digital Marketing Executive plays a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and performance of our vehicle stock advertising and service booking platforms across our customer websites and third-party partners.
Working across our consumer-facing brands including Stratstone, Evans Halshaw, Quickco and Driveway Vehicle Solutions, you’ll take ownership of the data, processes and reporting that underpin our digital advertising activity, ensuring our vehicle listings and service offerings are accurate, optimised and performing effectively across platforms such as Autotrader and Book My Garage.
This is a highly operational, data-driven role where you’ll work closely with suppliers, agencies and internal teams to manage telephony tracking, resolve stock and platform issues, and maintain the integrity of vehicle feeds, pricing files and API-driven data. You’ll play a key part in troubleshooting queries, supporting dealership teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery across multiple advertising systems.
Alongside this, you’ll support the production of Power BI reporting, competitor analysis and performance insight, helping to identify opportunities to improve advert quality, optimise ROI, and drive continuous improvement across our digital advertising estate.
Your Journey as a Digital Marketing Executive:
- Work closely with our telephony tracking supplier to manage day-to-day call tracking requirements across our customer websites and advertising partners, including Auto Trader and Book My Garage.
- Investigate and troubleshoot used vehicle stock-related queries, supporting dealership teams and following escalation processes to resolution.
- Develop an understanding of vehicle feed and API parameters across our dealer websites and third-party advertising platforms.
- Support the creation of Microsoft Power BI visualisation reports by collating and analysing underlying performance data alongside our marketing agency partners.
- Undertake competitor and market research across the automotive retail landscape, identifying trends and opportunities to share with key stakeholders.
- Assist with uploading pricing files to maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle valuation and servicing pricing information.
- Support the day-to-day administration of vehicle advertiser partners, including dealership amendments, set-up activity and online optimisation.
- Develop an understanding of vehicle photography standards and supporting software solutions to help improve advert quality across the business.
- Attend regular supplier and stakeholder meetings, both remotely and face-to-face where required, to support relationship management, reporting discussions and issue resolution.
- Support the management and upload of sales match files and identify any reporting or data discrepancies.
- Produce reports and analyse key performance measures to help improve advert quality, platform performance and overall ROI.
- Work closely with the Website & E-Commerce team to support user journey improvements and online conversion opportunities.
- Support key business projects and digital innovation initiatives, working closely with the Head of Paid Media & Advertising to drive continuous improvement across the function.
- Conduct quality assurance checks across digital content, links, data and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We’re looking for someone who has:
- Ideally a recent Graduate with a Business/Marketing/Digital degree level or at least 1 year experience.
- Sound understanding of paid media- in particular focus on Google and Meta as a minimum.
- Highly collaborative, you must be a strong communicator and able to work effectively with others, and to build productive, collaborative relationships across departments and with third parties.
- A passion for all things digital. A strong desire to learn, create, contribute & innovate.
- Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
- Comfortable in interpreting and analysing data
- An eye for detail and an unrelenting desire for quality; for example, when reviewing advert and social media content.
What we can offer you:
- Enjoy 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), giving you more time to relax, recharge, and do what you love
- Celebrate your special day with an extra day off on your birthday
- Our industry-leading Family Leave Policies ensure you’re supported when it matters most
- Access a new car through our Salary Sacrifice scheme and enjoy a smarter way to drive
- Take a paid day to volunteer and give back to a cause close to your heart
- We believe in recognising dedication and loyalty, that’s why we celebrate long service milestone anniversaries
- Unlock your potential with tailored training and endless career growth opportunities
- Commute for less with our cycle to work scheme
