GRADUATE ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)

VA Technology is a world leading supplier of manufacturing systems for large-scale aerospace, medical and automotive companies around the world.

Working in close partnership with our customers to solve complex engineering challenges, by using the ingenuity of our people in the application of advanced control techniques.

Our Engineering Graduate positions provide a challenging opportunity for you to gain a breadth of knowledge in the design of automated systems. Additionally, you will gain a better understanding of how our organisation operates and how our people work together to solve problems.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Detailed design and development of automation systems and equipment.
  • Design calculations, including stress analysis and heat transfer.
  • Creation of technical specifications for the development of equipment.
  • Working to product design standards and design procedures.

What you'll need:

  • HNC / HND with additional experience.
  • M.Eng / B.Eng Mechanical or Aerospace degree qualification preferred.
  • Full In house training provided, no previous design experience required.
  • Demonstrated CAD Experience, 2D and 3D, is highly desirable.
  • Problem solving, communication and team working capability.
  • Right to work in UK - we do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
