Field Service Engineer - Medical & Aesthetic Lasers

Location: South / Southeast England (Field-based) - Ideally based within London or the Home Counties

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance

About the role

We are representing a rapidly expanding medical device service provider representing world-leading brands in ophthalmic and aesthetic laser technology. Due to sustained growth, they are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to support their clinical clients across the South and Southeast.

If you have experience in the sector, or want to transition into a lucrative, high-tech sector, they will provide the specialist training to get you there.

Covering the South/Southeast region, you will handle the preventative maintenance and emergency repair of high-value optical and aesthetic laser systems.

  • Environments: Deliver premium service within hospitals, private eye clinics, and high-end aesthetic practices.

  • Technical Duties: Diagnose complex electronic faults, and perform precise optical alignments.

  • Training: Attend fully funded, world-class manufacturer training courses (including potential international travel) to become a certified expert.

What We Are Looking For

Experience with ophthalmic or aesthetic lasers is highly desirable but not essential. My client will also consider Engineers from similar or transferable industries who want to retrain.

Requirements:

  • Experience within ophthalmic/aesthetic lasers, or a similiar medical / electronics / laser based industry

  • Field service experience, with excellent territory and time management.

  • A professional demeanor, you will be the face of the company in high-pressure environments

  • A full, clean UK driving license.
