Job Overview:
This salaried graduate business internship offers a unique opportunity to explore and engage with various aspects of our business - from identifying gaps in the market and developing new products, to assisting in operational management, sales, marketing, and accounting. The successful candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, a keen eye for new product opportunities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Standard Operating Procedures & Process Scaling:
A core focus of this internship will be on creating, refining, and documenting robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and audit processes that ensure consistency, repeatability, and scalability across all departments. You will help establish a strong operational backbone that can support rapid growth.

  • Work directly with the Director to design systems and SOPs across purchasing, product development, logistics, and compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to map and improve core business workflows.
  • Build scalable frameworks that support rapid expansion, reduce failure points, and enable smart delegation.
  • Play a critical role in supporting and scaling our India-based operations team, developing documentation and systems that allow this office to act as a fail-safe and operational backstop for key processes.

Market Research and Product Development:

  • Identify new product opportunities by analyzing market trends and gaps.
  • Participate actively in product development initiatives, feasibility projects, and innovation pipelines.
  • Lead independent new product projects under the guidance of the company Director.

Operations and Sales:

  • Take part in operations management, sales, and marketing activities.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels across existing product lines.
  • Communicate with suppliers and coordinate with internal teams such as CAD/render artists and graphic designers.

Accounting and Compliance:

  • Gain exposure to accounting processes and industry-specific compliance measures.
  • Contribute to documentation and process-checking workflows that ensure regulatory and financial accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate across departments to gain a deep, holistic understanding of the business.
  • Assist in improving cross-functional workflows and data visibility.

Requirements:

  • Russell Group University Degree or overseas equivalent.
  • A-level minimum requirement: AAA (or overseas equivalent)
  • STEM degree subjects preferred
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a keen eye for new product opportunities.
  • High motivation levels and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility for full-time employment in the UK.
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical sales is not a requirement.

Offer and Benefits:
The internship is a 12 month paid position with a salary of £50,000. For exceptional candidates, there will be an opportunity for full-time permanent position after the 12 month internship, accompanied by an attractive signing bonus of £5000 paid at 18 months of continuous employment.
