Graduate Applications Engineer

Location: Surrey

Salary: £31,000 - £37,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week 08:30 – 17:00 with Flexi-Time Available

About the Opportunity

Bolt Technical are hiring for a Graduate Applications Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing business supplying specialist technical products to customers across a range of industries.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer looking to develop their technical knowledge while gaining valuable customer-facing experience. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams, helping to solve technical challenges, support product enquiries, and deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding products and applications

· Assist customers in identifying suitable solutions for their requirements

· Investigate and resolve technical enquiries

· Support product evaluations and returns processes

· Work closely with sales and engineering teams to progress customer projects

· Assist with quotations and customer proposals

· Maintain accurate records of customer communications and project activity

· Follow up on enquiries to ensure timely progression and resolution

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

What They're Looking For

· Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline

· Strong interest in engineering, technology, and problem-solving

· Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Commercial awareness and an interest in customer-facing engineering

· Organised and proactive approach to work
