About the Role

Yellowcom is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Engineer to join our growing Modern Workplace team. This is a hands-on role supporting clients across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland, delivering secure, efficient IT solutions and exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft 365, endpoint management, cybersecurity technologies and Kaseya solutions. You will be responsible for supporting end users, maintaining secure client environments, deploying new solutions and assisting with project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to end users across multiple client environments.
  • Deploy, configure and maintain laptops, desktops and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
  • Support Microsoft 365 migrations, including Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive projects.
  • Manage device deployment and lifecycle processes using Autopilot and Intune.
  • Monitor and maintain endpoint health, automation and patch management using Kaseya Datto RMM.
  • Support security solutions including Datto AV, Datto EDR, Microsoft Defender and ransomware protection technologies.
  • Manage endpoint backup and recovery solutions.
  • Support secure remote access technologies including VPNest.
  • Monitor Dark Web ID alerts and assist with security incident response activities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset registers and client configuration records.
  • Deliver clear, professional communication to customers and colleagues at all times.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and service improvements within client environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in an IT Support Engineer, Field Engineer or MSP Engineer role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including:
  • Exchange Online
  • SharePoint Online
  • Teams
  • OneDrive
  • Experience managing devices through Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA and Conditional Access.
  • Hands-on experience with Kaseya solutions, including:
  • Datto RMM
  • Datto AV
  • Datto EDR
  • Advanced Software Management (Patch Management)
  • Endpoint Backup
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience working across multiple customer environments.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Desirable Skills & Certifications

  • Microsoft Certifications:
  • MD-102 Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate
  • AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with Kaseya IT Glue, Autotask PSA or other Kaseya platforms.
  • Experience with Datto networking products.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus requirements.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and service management best practices.
