Job Title: Software Automation QA

Location: Loughton, Essex

What we are looking for?

We are seeking an extremely driven, passionate and motivated individual to join our in-house development family. The ideal candidate will enjoy learning, seeing projects through to completion and thrive on new challenges. As a member of our team, your role will be to ensure the quality of the Mr Lender applications through manual and automated testing.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not solely be limited to:

  • Develop and enhance Selenium test suite, both by creating new tests and refining existing ones
  • Implement upgrades to the Selenium test framework to ensure optimal performance and compatibility
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of the frontend website across various platforms, including desktops, mobile devices, and tablets
  • Verify the functionality of the backend "admin" features on popular web browsers such as Chrome and Firefox
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of various API's used by affiliates and other third-party service providers
  • Perform testing on automation jobs
  • Respond to inquiries and address concerns raised by agents and senior management through the development team support mailbox as needed
  • Regularly monitor error logs to detect and report any issues occurring within the live environment
  • Analyse user interaction videos to identify potential usability or functionality issues
  • Ensure timely and predictable software releases, promptly communicating any impediments to the release process
  • Participate in scrum meetings and client briefings to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

  • appropriate marketing,
  • sound customer understanding (across the customer base); and
  • high levels of customer support.

Desired Skills

  • Strong Experience with Selenium in C#
  • Experience with Reqnroll, formally Specflow
  • Experience working with Page Object Model design pattern
  • Good Experience crafting robust element locators (i.e. CSS selectors) and best practices
  • Experience in debugging tests locally and using the browser devtools / console
