PING is a family-owned golf manufacturer, founded in 1959 by Karsten and Louise Solheim. PING Europe, based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, assembles and distributes golf equipment to the UK, Ireland, Europe, Iceland, South Africa and the Middle East. The European headquarters employs over 250 people in a range of different functions, including manufacturing, operations, marketing, sales and finance. The company also has an apparel design office, based in Cheadle, Cheshire, and is the proprietor of Thonock Park Golf Club, also in Gainsborough.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the PING Information Systems team as a Business Solutions Analyst. The role will be based at our head office in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, with the option of some remote working after a qualifying period. The Business Solutions Analyst will report to the Head of Digital Technology. Responsible for identifying, design and deliver technical solutions for the specific business needs of departments. Assessing internal and external customer requirements and designing solutions to improve processes, optimise results and suggest opportunities to deliver the organisation’s goals. This will involve working with both global business users and external suppliers to find information and produce documentation to move projects to completion.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

· To produce analysis and documentation using a variety of tools to uncover answers to both pre-set and undefined questions around company processes, policies, and operations.

· Build relationships across the business promoting collaboration on cross functional projects.

· Communicating insights to key stakeholders across the organisation and leading change.

· Eliciting requirements from stakeholders, defining, and delivering solutions to challenges.

· Own areas of company systems and process, provide support and identify improvements.

· Support in the delivery of Technical Projects to the wider business.

· Produces detailed documentation including; mapping business processes, data infrastructure, functional requirements and user stories for projects

· Translating commercial objectives into technical specifications for the Technology team

· Responsibility to maintain the integrity and security of company systems and data.

· Other duties as assigned.

Essential qualifications and experience:

· Degree level education in a related discipline or equivalent experience

· Previous experience as an Analyst, product owner or similar

Personal qualities:

· Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to facilitate group sessions.

· A high level of numeracy and the ability to apply and analytical techniques

· A good knowledge of business process with the ability to document changes required

· Understanding of relational databases, SQL and reporting software

· Be self-motivated and flexible, with good personal organisation.

· The ability to work independently or as part of a team to meeting deadlines
