Full job description

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join the Marketing Team at Hyve during a period of rapid growth.

You will be working within a demand generation-focused marketing team, working across content, advertising, and events to produce qualified leads for our sales department. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to make a real impact. We celebrate proactivity and initiative, and all members of our team are encouraged to learn from every department and contribute new ideas.

Responsibilities

Social media

  • Write and design organic social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Bluesky
  • Work with the Content Manager to develop a content calendar based on platform algorithm updates, industry trends and performance data
  • Monitor channel performance and produce regular social media reports with clear analysis and actionable recommendations
  • Maintain an awareness of emerging social media trends and platform updates

Written content

  • With direction from the Content Manager, develop engaging written content focused on lead generation, brand awareness and repeat business
  • Produce high-quality technical content in collaboration with subject matter experts across the business
  • Add, update and edit content on the company website using WordPress CMS, ensuring pages are accurate, SEO and AIO optimised and up to date
  • Produce internal communications and company-wide emails

Design and collateral

  • Support the creation of sales enablement materials for outreach and events, whitepapers, case studies and marketing collateral in collaboration with the Senior UX Designer
  • Assist with the design and production of event materials and branded assets

Operations and events

  • Coordinate the ordering and management of merchandise for office use and events
  • Support the organisation and coordination of flyers and other collateral for events

This role is ideal if you:

  • Have demonstrable experience in content writing/creation - whether in tech or another field
  • Enjoy variety - working within our team, no two days look the same. You will have the chance to work on content writing, copywriting, graphic design, events, merchandising and more.
  • Are an excellent communicator with the ability to work with stakeholders to communicate complex ideas in a clear, coherent way
  • Have excellent teamwork skills - we are a close knit team, regularly sharing insights and inspiration, and generating ideas together
  • Are able to manage several projects/campaigns simultaneously.

It would be great if you had:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Comms, English or similar
  • Experience using design tools across the Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
  • Experience updating web content via Wordpress CMS.
