Full job description

Leading Edge offers complete signage and and graphics services which cover the whole of the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a signage designer/artworker.

To create technical signage drawings and graphic artwork. You will become part of our dedicated design team, working closely with our project managers and fabrication team to create visual concepts for a variety of clients.

Duties & Required Skills:

Coming up with creative concepts working with brand guidelines.

Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks, often working on multiple projects concurrently.

Solid knowledge of signage and graphics production processes and technicalities.

Collaborating with other creatives in a design team to a client’s vision ensure a common vision and consistent branding.

Keeping a client up-to-date with regard to project progress using in the main Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and and applying client recommendations. Applicants with an matching skill sets but with a specialism in other softwares such as Solidworks, Corel Draw are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of creating print and production ready files.

Keeping up-to-date with design and software trends.

An understanding and willingness to embrance and develop AI design skills.

Liaising with external parties.

Presenting final design concepts, including specifications.
An understanding of the application of design across for fonts, images, colours, text and layout.

A minimum of 3 years experience in a signage design role is required for this position. Applicants will be asked to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the signage manufacturing process.
