Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, culinary arts, and team management to lead by example and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of hospitality.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Supervise daily operations, including managing staff schedules, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Assist with food production and kitchen organisation to optimise efficiency during service hours.
  • Manage customer interactions, addressing any concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Support training programmes for new staff members and ongoing development of team skills.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant environments, including food preparation, cooking, serving, or hospitality roles.
  • Supervising experience with demonstrated team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
  • Previous bar and cocktail experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • A personable approach with excellent communication skills to foster a positive team atmosphere. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their career within the hospitality industry while leading a dedicated team in delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Pay: £14.00 per hour
