Our vision is to be a bold and innovative general practice which is integrated in the community and delivers quality care in partnership with our patients.
All members of the SCGP team are dedicated to providing a quality service in order to achieve safe health services, which meet patient needs.
Good general practice is based on good doctor and patient relationships requiring trust and mutual respect. We believe this is basic to good patient care. We work in a partnership with our patients.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and undergo rigorous pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS checks where required. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.

The purpose of the role is to perform a high-quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction, providing excellent service and maximum contribution to practice efficiency and effectiveness in line with practice policies. Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with all members of the SCGP team and our patients is fundamental.
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals, who have strong receptionist or administration experience - along with the following requirements:
- Outstanding customer service skills

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Excellent attention to detail and use initiative.
- A well-presented and motivated individual who enjoys working independently and within a great team.
If you are ready to contribute to a supportive team that values patient care and community integration, apply now to become a vital part of SCGP as a Patient Coordinator.
If you are successful during the shortlisting stage, you will receive further information about attending an assessment day with us.
