Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Opso Restaurant, located in the heart of Marylebone. Since 2014, Opso has been serving modern Greek cuisine, combining fresh, innovative dishes with the warmth of traditional Greek hospitality. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play an essential role in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Previous experience at least 2 years in a high-end hospitality venue.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
  • A passion for hospitality and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up tables by arranging cutlery, napkins, glassware, and plates in an organized manner.
  • Good understanding and explanation of the menu to the guests.
  • Effectively communicate any special requests or concerns to the manager on duty.
  • Ensure the service station is always well-stocked with essentials for smooth operations.
  • Work closely with assistant waiters, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient and seamless service.
  • Properly taking orders to ensure smooth service and provide guests with a positive dining experience.
