Full job description

Green Pastures Christian Nursing Home have a rare opportunity for a registered nurse to join our wonderful team.

Please note that we are currently only able to consider applications from candidates who live within commutable distance of the care home and have the legal right to work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor visas at this time

About you

  • You must be a qualified registered nurse and registered with the NMC (valid PIN).
  • Manage the assessment, implementation and evaluation of individual resident care plans while promoting a professional working environment to ensure a high standard of resident care.
  • Adopt a systemic, individual approach to all resident care plans and communicate the outcomes to the clinical team both verbally and in writing, ensuring all care plans and risk assessment documentation is kept up to date.
  • Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care.
  • Support and supervise care staff.
  • Professional experience and ability to know when medical concerns or decisions need referring to a Clinical lead or the Home Manager.
  • You will need excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding care.
  • You must have knowledge and understanding of the Emar/Atlas system
  • Must have experience with PCS platform

Hours: Primarily night shifts at 36 hours per week

Pay: Competitive salary with enhanced rates for night and weekend shifts.

Free Parking is available on site and meals are offered at a highly subsidised rate. We are a well-known and respected nursing home for over 30 years in Banbury. We have high staffing levels and excellent quality of care. We pride ourselves in offering an excellent standard of care to our residents and all aspects of our care are based on our vision of fullness of life, growth, and excellence.

We are predominantly looking for a registered nurse to work night shift.
