Full job description

Krinkels UK delivers grounds maintenance services for local authorities and housing associations maintaining parks and green open spaces. Our aim is to provide sustainable outcomes for the local communities in which we work through our commitment, experience and innovative service delivery.

We are looking for a full time Street Cleansing Operative to work on our contract in Bracknell.

Flexible, and with a can-do attitude you will work as part of a team keeping Bracknell's town centre clean. Duties include litter picking, manual sweeping, emptying litter bins and various other street cleansing tasks. Experience of street cleansing operations an advantage.

  • Experience of street cleansing operations but training will be provided
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also be a team player
  • Competent by training to operate a range of mechanical sweeper
  • Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
  • Good written skills e.g. able to complete daily record sheet
  • Flexible, can do attitude – good at making things work effectively and getting the job done
  • Responsible and committed to the delivery of high quality services
  • Welcomes change and seeks improvement
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Honest and reliable
  • Courteous approach with colleagues and members of the public

You will need to follow all safe working procedures, including wearing supplied PPE at all times.
The most important thing is a flexible can do attitude, and a commitment to the delivery of high quality services.
