Job Overview
We are hiring for Terrace & Urban Gardeners to join our Exterior Hort. team working in and around London.

You will be part of a team looking after a mix of outdoor planting types, including container planting, roof gardens, planting beds, green walls, and seasonal colour at our clients, all of which are commercial spaces, such as offices, hotels, coworking spaces, and restaurants.

We're based in Enfield, so easy access to this is preferable. Uniform, van, and equipment will all be provided, as will training for any skills/qualifications as required.

Duties

  • Responsible for the maintenance of external planters, roof terraces, living walls, etc.
  • Watering, weeding, pruning and planting.
  • Hedge cutting, lawn mowing and border edging.
  • Irrigation installation, maintenance and repair.
  • Assisting in the control of pest and disease.
  • Logging all visit information on Plant Plan IT systems.
  • Working safely and adhering to our H&S policies.
  • Be punctual and professional at all times, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Present a clean, tidy and professional appearance
  • Keep all equipment clean and in good working order.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL:

  • Prior experience in planting maintenance.
  • Horticultural experience and basic outdoor plant knowledge.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a can-do and flexible attitude.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • You must hold a valid UK driving license and be willing to drive in central London.

PREFERRED:

  • Horticulture qualification.
  • PA1 & PA6.
