We’re looking for a talented Tailor who is just as comfortable behind the sewing machine as they are speaking with customers.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will combine excellent tailoring skills with a warm, professional approach to customer service. You’ll handle garment fittings, alterations, and repairs, while also assisting customers with inquiries, bookings, and style advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform alterations, repairs, and custom tailoring to a high standard
  • Take accurate measurements and conduct fitting appointments
  • Provide professional advice on garment adjustments and fabric care
  • Greet customers and handle inquiries in person, by phone, or online
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and display area
  • Handle payments, manage orders, and update customer records

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a tailor, seamstress, or alteration specialist
  • Strong sewing and garment construction skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Basic computer or point-of-sale skills (training provided if needed)
